Lord Oda’s Revenge: Blood Ninja II
I see some people complaining of the characterizations. The Blood Ninja is a adventurous, horror and action-packed book. The writing improved a little as the book progessed — although that may be because those descriptions ended up tying into the action bllodninja the end.

But the second half slowed down significantly, and the main character started doing things that I had a hard time believing he would do such as the incident with his bow. Will he turn his back on his true destiny?
It is all well done and very tasteful. While clever, it is not as original as some might think there’s some anime that predates this book by quite a bit that already made that connectionbut it’s still fresh, from an American reader’s perspective compare to Twilight and the like anyway.

I am undecided right now, I really didn’t want to get involved in reading yet another series. Dec 30, Karissa rated it really nlck it. A fast paced book with interesting characters and loads of action. Especially if this isn’t going to simply end with a second book.
His dad is sick, like usual. After his father is murdered and a ninja saves his life, Taro discovers the connection between ninjas and vampires and oake himself being dragged into a bitter conflict between the rival lords ruling Japan.
He had to bite Taro because all ninjas are vampires. I have read some reviews were readers felt the book gave no indication of being a series and ended in mid-air, yet throughout reading, I never felt this was a stand alone book.
